Who am I?
I am a certified massage therapist, dance artist, and dance teacher based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. These passions all follow one central personal philosophy: only movement can change things. I believe freedom of movement is essential for a better quality of life.
I am passionate about the ways that both dancing and manual therapy are types of movement that transform the body both physiologically and creatively. Having pursued dance since a very young age, I have a deep understanding of how to maintain and treat the body. Throughout my dance studies and teaching career I travelled extensively, encountering many contexts for both artistic practice and manual therapy. I noticed that there is a strong, central link between movement practice and manual therapy—a need for both intention and focus.
Why massage therapy?
I was drawn to massage therapy because I care about people and their well being. After many decades of experience in dance, massage is a more recent pursuit, and I am nourished and inspired by writing this new chapter. My main interest is to release specific muscular or fascial tensions in order to improve people’s mobility, eliminate their pain, and enhance their performance in athletic activities or even in their daily lives.
I believe that the physical impact of massage also has a positive influence on the mind. As a dance performer, the many treatments I have had in my life supported both my physical longevity and deepened my creativity in both art and in life. I am inspired by the way that massage brings the mind and the body to a balanced homeostasis. Offering that state of balance to clients is one way that I direct my energy towards a better world.

My approach is to draw from BetsyAnn Baron's Structural Myo-Fascial Therapy level 1, 2, Deep Tissue techniques by Daniel Poirier, and Swedish massage techniques by Amy Vasiliou. I am fascinated to combine scientific knowledge of anatomy and physiology with a touch-based intuition and presence. My treatments can range from strong and deep to subtle and calming, based on the needs of each client and issue. I provide professional care, integrating techniques to encourage flow within each person's body to the best of my knowledge and ability. Depth, softness, slowness, respect, and care are my guiding principles in treatment.
Why park sante?
Park Santé embodies several key principles that resonate deeply with me: empathy, knowledge sharing between professionals, and collaborative care towards the clients. These elements create an environment where we can effectively address clients' pain, injuries, and pathologies, helping them resolve their discomfort at its root. I've found myself surrounded by extraordinary, intelligent, and dynamic colleagues at Parc Santé. I feel welcomed and supported, and share a common goal of providing the best possible care.
